How This All Got Started

​

My business is dedicated to the old me. The version of me that held herself back due to all the programming she received from the world. The unloveable, not good enough, ugly, loser shadows I carried. This business is dedicated to the version of myself that was scared of trying.

Organizing is one of my first loves. I’ve been organizing my space for a longgg time. Anything I own or touch whether it’s in my house or my parent's house I know exactly where it is.

It all started when I was 8. I threw everything in my closet, that was my way of tidying up my room. Then one day I really REALLY wanted to play with my toy. And I thought it was in the closet.

The closet was so packed and stuffed that I could barely open the door. I was frustrated and desperate, I needed my the toy right then and right there.

I realized my only option was to clean and organize my closet. Let me tell you, it was a challenge for an 8 year old. But that's when I fell in love with tidying up and making sure everything had a home. 

Naturally, after that day, I grew to love mess! I always got compliments from friends who saw my room and I even demanded that my brother start organizing too. 

When I got older I dreamed of having my own organizing business but I was still looping on the negative narratives from childhood. Unloveable, not good enough, loser, ugly. And to add the cherry on top I carried shame around the fact that I enjoyed tidying up because society told me I needed a serious job. A job that’s gonna make me money.

And again, naturally, I never pursued it. 

That was the old me.

I am now, proudly and boldly stepping into my power. 

My name is Courtney, and I’m an organizer :-) 

I love to organize anything and EVERYTHING however, Closet makeovers and travel packing (and unpacking) are my FAVORITE things to organize. Some of my best days ever have been helping people organize their closets and helping them pack for their trip.
